Faces in the woods

While walking in the woods I found these little faces on a tree, they were made with clay of some sort and natural objects stuck in for the features - I wonder where they came from.

    Eerie! But what a lovely find. They'll decay slowly with the seasons -- interesting to go back in a few weeks.

      good idea. we saw a few which had fallen off the trees, hopefully these will survive the rain and wind!

    What fun! Participants at our Renaissance Faire sometimes put faces on the trees, especially in the Fairy Realm!
