Bacon and sweet potato bento

Another bento I made for my lunch tomorrow. This time its bacon and sweet potato in a teriyaki sauce with sesame seeds and sticky rice, and for pudding its a satsuma and a slice of cake (from a cake I made yesterday).

Strawberry Nails

I painted my nails like strawberries today!

chicken katsu

I made my own version of chicken katsu. I often order this dish in Wagamama and I've seen that the vegetarian version uses sweet potato instead of chicken, so i made a combination of the two.

Choccywoccydoodah

I visited the new Carnaby Street branch of Choccywoccydoodah at the weekend. I was amazed by some of the chocolate sculptures. We had milkshakes in the cafe upstairs and I took these photos of the interior.

Whitby Abbey

On Saturday I visited Whitby Abbey, it was such a sunny day and it was nice to see the blue sky through the windows of the ruins.

The texture of the stone where it has been worn away by the wind and salt was really interesting - almost like a sea sponge!
