Coloured rice

These are some coloured rice onigri I made for a party - the little teapot has soy sauce in it to pour onto the onigri.

 This image shows the process. I boiled sushi rice and then separated it into 5 bowls, then I sprinkled on a mixture of sushi vinegar, mirin, and food colouring.
I then used rice moulds to make the different shapes.

Spirited Away Bento

A Chara-ben I made of Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away. I used ham, peppers, mini-sweetcorn, spinach, rice and noodles.

Commissions
